As artists, we identify ourselves with our art... we want the art to sell itself.
We've been taught “if we build it, they will come”... but that's not true at all (as you can see in your empty chair right now)...
If your chair isn't booked out for the year, don't blame it on your art...
I know some incredible artists who are dead broke with no tattoos to do, working a second job to make ends meet…
And I know half-decent artists who are packed full a year in advance because they treat their art just as much as a business as it is art.
